A simple USB-powered DAC that converts SPDIF optical (Toslink) or coax audio into analog stereo via RCA L/R and 3.5mm AUX. Works best when your source is set to PCM/LPCM 2-channel.

This Digital to Analog Audio Converter (DAC) is the easy fix when your TV, PS4/PS5, Xbox, Blu-ray player, or set-top box only has digital audio output (Optical/Coax), but your speaker, amplifier, or headphones need analog audio.

It converts SPDIF optical (Toslink) or coaxial input into stereo analog output through L/R RCA and 3.5mm AUX. Perfect for connecting older sound systems, powered speakers, or wired headphones to modern TVs and consoles.

Key benefits

  • Optical + Coax input → Analog output

  • Dual output: RCA L/R + 3.5mm AUX (stereo)

  • Supports 32/44.1/48/96kHz sampling (up to 24-bit)

  • USB powered (no drivers, plug-and-play)

  • Clear audio transmission with reduced interference

Important notes (avoid customer confusion)

  • This is DAC only (Digital → Analog). It is NOT Analog → Digital. Input/output cannot be reversed.

  • Set your TV/source audio format to PCM or LPCM (2-channel).

  • 5.1 / Dolby / DTS will not work unless you switch the output to PCM/LPCM stereo.

  • Does not support 192kHz sample rate.

Setup guide (copy/paste)

  1. Connect Optical (Toslink) or Coaxial from your TV/console to the DAC input.

  2. Connect RCA L/R or 3.5mm AUX from DAC output to your speaker/amp/headphones.

  3. Power the DAC using the USB cable (DC 5V).

  4. On your TV/source: Settings → Sound → Audio Format → PCM/LPCM (Stereo/2ch).

FM/streaming tip: If there’s no sound, 90% of the time it’s because the source is still set to Dolby/DTS/Auto instead of PCM.
